Bday aftermath = a sickly boo but lots of amazing presents! Some presents not pictured, like Sei-Jin's awesome gift of total margarita making package!
We got up pretty late and Z, Jason, and I went to see Iron Man, which was AWESOME! Then I dropped Z off and J and I went to Veggie Bite (totally his call) again and then I drove him to O'Hare and had a really good talk. Like I've said, Jason is really an inspiring dude and I am so happy to have him as a buddy.
It was really great last night to look around at old friends and new friends while seeing my fave dude sing at the venue I work at and love.

Picture shows the Dankazura 段葛. This is the approach to the shrine, originally constructed on behalf of Yoritomo's wife, Masako, to pray for safe birth. In spring, full-blown cherry trees and azaleas make a ‘flower tunnel’ to the shrine.
Lanterns are donated by business entities.
